FPT Software Reached Its First 10,000 Kilometers in “Happiness Footprints"

 As of March 21, 2023, more than 500 FPT Software employees, their families, and business partners have participated in the online charity race FPT - Happy Run with a total recorded distance of nearly 10,000 kilometers, contributing to spreading more kindness to the community.

Celebrating the 13th anniversary of FPT For the Community Day (March 13) and its 35th birthday, FPT Corporation holds the FPT For the Community Day 2023 with a variety of activities, namely the "Double Happiness" photo contest, “Happy Run” charity race, FPT employees' donation of one day's salaries, and many other programs across Vietnam.

In particular, “FPT 35 years - Happy Footprints” or FPT Happy Run consists of an offline race in Da Nang City and a virtual one starting from March 3 to September 2, 2023, on the online sports platform V-Race which is divided into three stages: Stage 1 - "Pride of FPT" (March 3  to May 2, 2023), Stage 2 - "Flying high" (May 3 to July 2, 2023), and Stage 3 - "Happiness to share" (July 3 to September 2, 2023). The program is expected to attract 135,000 participants from 135 localities and territories globally and record a total distance of 3.5 million kilometers.

For each VND100,000 registration fee per runner, FPT Corporation donates an additional VND1 million to the Hope Fund, a charity fund by VnExpress and FPT. The total raised amount will be used to construct new school sites, upgrade downgraded ones, provide books and teaching materials for schools in remote areas, and grant scholarships to students with difficult circumstances across Vietnam.

 

The race has received significantly positive responses from FPT Software employees. As of March 21, 2023, more than 500 FPT Software employees, their families, and business partners have registered to participate in the online charity race with a total achieved distance of nearly 10,000 kilometers.

In line with FPT Corporation’s new mission of Happiness Creation, FPT Software will establish more efforts to accompany the development of the community and the future generation.
