Global IT firm FPT recently partnered with Singapore Management University (SMU) to strengthen cooperation in training, recruitment, and talent development through its Global Internship Program. This two-year agreement aims to equip future IT talents with real-world industry experience, AI-related skillsets, and global career readiness across Singapore and the wider Asia Pacific region.

Under the agreement, SMU students, particularly those in their second year and above, will have the opportunity to join FPT's internship programs. These internships will offer flexible durations and hands-on experience in areas such as software engineering, cloud computing, data, AI, automation, and other emerging technologies. Students will also build practical skills through involvement in international projects and guidance from FPT’s cross-industry experts.
In addition, the partnership will feature joint initiatives such as workshops, events, and cultural exchange activities. These will introduce students to FPT's corporate culture, career opportunities, and AI-first approach, while enhancing their cross-cultural competencies and professional networks.
