At the initiative of the General Secretariat of the Francophonie Summit, Business France and the Alliance of Francophone Employers recently co-hosted FrancoTech in Paris to foster innovation, economic engagement, and collaboration for the Francophone community. The event was attended by Vietnamese General Secretary and State President To Lam, as part of his participation in the 19th Francophonie Summit and official visit to the French Republic at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. The event has spotlighted FPT’s extensive operation and expertise in AI and digital transformation, boasting immense prospects for business collaboration.

During the event, President To Lam delivered a keynote address, followed by a visit to the exhibition booths of Vietnamese companies, including FPT. Welcoming the President and the Vietnamese delegation, Pham Minh Tuan, FPT Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of FPT Software, showcased the company’s achievements in France and across Europe, highlighting its robust capabilities in emerging fields like AI, automotive, aerospace, energy, and healthcare. Its booth at FrancoTech also garnered strong interest from Francophone businesses, particularly in AI, data, cloud, talent development, and sustainability.

“France stands as one of FPT’s strategic markets in Europe, and we are committed to building a strong IT workforce and accelerating our growth both in France and across the broader European region. With projected revenue exceeding USD 100 million from the European market this year, our goal is for Europe to account for around 15% of FPT’s global IT services revenue within the next five years,” said Pham Minh Tuan, FPT Executive Vice President and CEO of FPT Software.

He further highlighted that, as a longstanding digital transformation partner for major French corporations, FPT aims to serve as a bridge for French and European businesses to access Vietnam’s momentum as a global innovation hub. Leveraging the country's growing potential in AI, digital transformation, green technologies, automotive innovation, and semiconductors, FPT is committed to fostering deeper collaboration and technological advancement.

Entering France in 2008, FPT now has over 100 local experts working in 5 offices across French major cities and 600 offshore professionals dedicated to the market. Its robust competencies are recognized as one of the Top 100 IT companies in France in 2023 and strategic partnerships with French giants like Airbus, La Poste, Air Liquide, Canal+ Group, Quadient, and Sagemcom.

It is the 4th largest trading partner for Vietnam in the EU and a leading source of Official Development Assistance (ODA), making Vietnam the 2nd largest recipient of French ODA in Asia.
