On the 10-year-anniversary celebrating ceremony , FPT Japan welcomes over 400 leaders of big companies and organizations in Japan, together with the Deputy Minister of the Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Ambassador to Japan and representatives of the Japan Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) the Japan Information Service Industry Association (JISA). Also at the event, FPT was honored to receive the certificate of merit from the Vietnamese Prime Minister for its contribution to the Vietnamese IT industry and the enhancement of partnership between Vietnam and Japan.

Commenting on the development of FPT in Japan, Vice Minister of the Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communications– Nguyen Thanh Hung said: “I am delighted to witness the tremendous growth of Vietnam’s ICT businesses in the Japan market. In particular, I appreciate the effort of FPT in the last 10 years in helping Vietnam to become a strategic partner in Japan’s IT sector”.

On Nov 13th 2005, FPT officially opened its first office in Japan operating in IT Outsourcing Services. It is the first IT company with the 100% capital comes from Vietnam established in Japan. After 10 years of development, FPT Japan strikes to become the biggest Vietnamese Software company in Japan with a tremendous increase of nearly 12 times in revenue, and is keeping an annual revenue growth of over 30% per year. FPT Japan now has 3 offices in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya with over 400 people. The company aims to reach a new height of 35% revenue growth by the end of this year.
