FPT and Siemens are expected to sign a strategic co-operation agreement on digital human resources training in July. The agreement will be signed on the occasion of the Vietnamese Prime Minister’s State-level visit to Germany, as FPT chairman Truong Gia Binh suggested.
With the invitation from FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh, Siemens president and CEO Joe Kaeser visited FPT’s F-Ville Software Village and FPT University in Hoa Lac during his first working visit of Viet Nam. Mr. Joe Kaeser asserted that Siemens is ready to cooperate with FPT to train human resources, especially young people for Vietnam’s successful participation in the 4th revolution.
Earlier, during a meeting with Vietnam Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at Davos in January, Joe Kaeser expressed his desire to build a training program for Vietnamese trainees and students. Siemens already deployed this program for over 2,000 interns from 48 countries around the world.
Mr. Kaeser is currently responsible for the promotion of the forth industrial revolution in Germany and around the world, opening research labs on cloud computing and implementing digitized industrial resource programs in Egypt, India, China and Singapore. The Siemens’ CEO is highly impressed with several digital transformation projects that FPT has deployed for their global clients, especially in Japan and wish to cooperate in implementing Siemens’ digital solutions in FPT’s key markets.
