FPT has been actively contributing to the fight against COVID-19 pandemic
Particularly, FPT has leveraged next-gen technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics process automation to help individuals and enterprises navigate through the crisis. Since the early outbreak of coronavirus, FPT has partnered with Vietnam’s Ministry of Health and introduced a 24/7 chatbot that could handle 5,000 COVID-19 inquires daily. Its AI learning platform VioEdu was also made free for local students of all level during nationwide school closures.
Earlier this June, FPT has donated its 2,000-room university dormitory as a quarantine facility and contributed US$850,000 in medical equipment, including ventilators, disinfectant chambers, and medical protective supplies to the pandemic’s frontline responders. The company also spent great efforts in safeguarding its employees while maintaining business resilience through measures such as upgrading its IT infrastructure for remote working hosting a drill in preparation for possible lockdowns, and so on. FPT has also organized four “rescue flights” to bring its employees, clients and their families from Japan and America back to Vietnam.
