The client is one of the largest publicly traded global asset management firms in the world, headquartered in New York.

Business Needs

A Portfolio management system suite which helps to manage US$800 billion, developed since 1985, having more than 2,000 users and 15,000 clients. This suite is developed in C/C++ (previously Pascal) on Sun Solaris technology which is having more than 500 applications and 2,000 workflows. FPT offshore team is scoped to production support, development and QA testing before go live. Suite has to be maintained and updated continuously to follow client’s needs. FPT offshore team should coordinate with team from UK, US and Australia. Offshore Team has to connect to client’s server using VPN with high level of security constraints.
