Global IT corporation FPT renewed its TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) Level 3 security label, following a reassessment by TÜV, maintaining the highest assurance level of this automotive-specific information security standard. This reinforces FPT’s position as the first Vietnam-headquartered enterprise to achieve the rigorous certificate.

Developed by the German Association of the Automotive Industry and governed by the ENX Association, TISAX is a mandatory information security framework for many OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, particularly for organizations handling highly sensitive data such as vehicle designs, prototypes, and confidential project information. Level 3, the most rigorous assessment tier, requires comprehensive on-site audits covering systems, processes, and personnel, and applies to data classified as highly confidential or strictly confidential. The certification is widely regarded as a key requirement for participation in the global automotive supply chain.
The renewed certification extends its three-year validity from 2023, and covers FPT’s automotive software development, project delivery, and information management processes across multiple locations in Vietnam. This confirms FPT’s ongoing eligibility to support global automotive projects that require the highest level of information security assurance. The company will continue to strengthen its security framework through regular audits, continuous employee training, and ongoing policy enhancements.
“Achieving TISAX Level 3 demonstrates FPT’s strong information security capabilities and our readiness to meet the most stringent requirements of global automotive customers,” said Nguyen Duc Kinh, FPT Software Executive Vice President and FPT Automotive Chief Executive Officer, FPT Corporation. “As we scale our automotive business worldwide, this certification supports our goal of enabling security-critical programs in areas such as software-defined vehicles, electrification, and intelligent mobility, while reinforcing trust in our delivery, governance, and engineering capabilities.”
As Vietnam’s leading technology corporation, FPT is contributing to the country’s emergence as a global hub for digital innovation while advancing next-generation co-creation in mobility and AI. With two decades of automotive engineering experience, the company operates a global network of 5,000 automotive software engineers and maintains strategic alliances with leading chipmakers, Tier-1 suppliers, and OEMs. FPT also supports industry talent development through its Automotive Software Engineering Department at FPT University and ensures delivery excellence through compliance with a broad portfolio of international automotive safety, security, and process standards, including ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 26262, A-SIL (A/B/C/D), and A-SPICE Level 3.
