FPT introduces CASAN, a comprehensive AI transformation methodology designed to guide enterprises worldwide in adopting AI at scale. The Corporation has also appointed a Chief AI Transformation Officer to further accelerate AI-driven transformation across its ecosystem.

At its core, CASAN is a five-level AI-native capability framework developed by FPT to assess, guide, and operationalise AI transformation in enterprises. More than a maturity model, CASAN provides organisations with a structured roadmap that bridges the gap between AI experimentation and real-world deployment at scale.

CASAN addresses a key gap: although AI adoption is a priority for global enterprises, many are hindered by fragmented solutions and the lack of a cohesive governance framework, while 70% of enterprise data also remains AI-unready due to quality and structural issues. It introduces a five-level maturity model that enables organisations to systematically progress in their AI journey:

  1. Curious: Initial exploration, where AI is applied sporadically at an individual level

  4. Automatic: Autonomous AI agents operate at scale, with humans focusing on oversight and exception handling

  5. Native: Fully AI-native organisations, where AI is deeply integrated into every aspect of operations

This foundation positions CASAN as both a practical methodology and a natural extension of FPT’s proven AI capabilities.

Dr. Nguyen Xuan Phong now serves as FPT Corporation Chief AI Transformation Officer

In parallel, FPT has reinforced its AI transformation ambitions through leadership appointments. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Phong, FPT Chief Technology Officer and a renowned AI expert, has been named Chief AI Transformation Officer. In this role, he will lead the Corporation’s AI Transformation Office, overseeing the development of AI strategies, methodologies, and platforms, while advancing core AI technologies and expanding global partnerships.

The office also serves as a central hub for talent development and innovation, accelerating AI adoption across FPT’s operations and contributing to the broader advancement of Vietnam’s AI capabilities on the global stage.

This dual move - launching CASAN and appointing a dedicated AI transformation leader - underscores FPT’s commitment to making AI a core competitive advantage for both the Corporation and its clients.
