FPT Corporation announced that Nguyen Khai Hoan, FPT Software Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) has been appointed concurrently Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FPT Americas, effective January 1, 2026. Phuong Dang, currently serving as FPT Software SEVP and FPT Americas CEO, will remain SEVP with a new focus on Europe and the Middle East (EMEA). This leadership transition underscores the company’s commitment to accelerating growth in one of its largest, fastest-growing markets.

The move comes as FPT accelerates its expansion in the Americas and EMEA. Over the past year, the company has expanded its partner ecosystem through collaborations with strategic partners like Kyndryl and Clearlake Capital Group, as well as deepening its relationship with long-term clients including Cox Automotive, Halliburton, Ford, NXP and Silicon Labs. Since entering the region in 2008, FPT has established a robust presence, now employing over 1,000 professionals across the United States, Canada and nearshore delivery centers in Costa Rica, Colombia and Mexico. In 2024, the Americas emerged as a key growth engine, contributing over 24% of global IT services revenue and securing record-breaking deals including one worth USD 225 million. In this new role, Hoan will oversee FPT’s business in the Americas with a focus on AI, automotive software, BFSI digital solutions, among other high-growth domains.

Phuong will lead market expansion in Europe & Middle East, forge strategic partnerships with top technology players, and drive FPT toward securing major global deals. The EMEA region is experiencing strong demand for digital transformation and AI-driven solutions, creating significant opportunities for FPT to accelerate growth and deepen its presence.

Nguyen Khai Hoan earned a Ph.D. in Economics in 2003 and joined FPT that same year. Starting as Chief Accountant, he became Chief Financial Officer in 2005. In 2023, he also took on the role of Chief Operating Officer, overseeing global accounting and finance operations and playing a pivotal role in major M&A, investment, and partnership deals, including with Landing AI (2023) and Clearlake Capital Group (2025).

Phuong Dang joined FPT in 2004, holding key roles in the US Strategic Unit and managing major aviation and logistics accounts, driving sales growth and team expansion. In 2016, he became Chief Delivery Officer of FPT Americas and was named CEO in 2017. He was in charge of reshaping the business landscape, expanding delivery centers across the region and positioning the Americas subsidiary as FPT’s second-largest market with an average growth rate of 25% over eight consecutive years.

These leadership changes are part of FPT’s executive rotation program, designed to promote diversity and transition, strengthen operational capabilities, create varied experiences for senior leaders, and empower the company to meet and exceed global client expectations.
