FPT and Microsoft recently co-hosted the “AI Frontier – Unlocking the Potential of Japanese Enterprises” summit in Nha Trang, Vietnam, bringing together Japanese enterprises for an immersive exchange on accelerating AI adoption and unlocking business value.

While most organizations have already experimented with AI, research shows that nearly 95% of AI pilots fail to generate meaningful impact, often due to challenges in scaling across fragmented systems, data environments, and enterprise governance structures. With an estimated 1.3 billion AI agents expected globally by 2028, the question is how quickly organizations can move from pilot experimentation toward real-world, production-grade deployment—an urgency that framed the discussions throughout the summit. Against this backdrop, the summit explored the Microsoft ecosystem—including Cloud, Data, AI, Copilot, Security, and Azure-based solutions—combined with FPT's delivery capabilities, providing a comprehensive view of enterprise-grade AI transformation.

FPT introduced its structured approach to AI transformation through the CASAN framework, a five-level maturity model guiding organizations from early experimentation to AI-native operations, alongside FleziPT, an AI-first platform designed to enable secure, governed and scalable deployment across enterprise environments.

Together, these capabilities show how organizations can transition from isolated use cases to integrated, enterprise-wide AI adoption.

The summit also highlighted the emergence of Agentic AI, where autonomous AI agents can plan, reason, and execute tasks across end-to-end workflows, enabling organizations to move toward AI-powered digital workforces. Through executive discussions, real-world case studies, and hands-on workshops, business leaders explored how it can be embedded into core operations, decision-making, and innovation processes. Participants also engaged in the AI Frontier Discovery Cards Workshop, co-led by FPT and Microsoft, to co-create high-impact use cases and define actionable roadmaps aligned with their strategic priorities.
