Global technology corporation FPT has signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding with the Hong Kong Information Technology Joint Council (HKITJC) to strengthen collaboration in technology, business development, and talent exchange between Vietnam and Hong Kong.

Under the agreement, the two parties will collaborate on key initiatives, including knowledge exchange and exploring opportunities in emerging technologies such as AI, Cloud, and Big Data and other mutually agreed activities. The partnership is expected to deepen business connectivity by supporting market access and fostering closer engagement across the technology ecosystems of Vietnam and Hong Kong. It will also lay the foundation for a broader collaborative network that supports talent development and contributes to the sustainable growth of the IT industry in both countries and the wider region.

“Our partnership with HKITJC reflects a shared ambition to strengthen technology collaboration between Vietnam and Hong Kong. As an AI-first company, FPT will continue to bring our AI expertise and AI-augmented workforce to help businesses in Hong Kong optimize operations, improve productivity, and unlock new growth opportunities,” said Tran Huu Canh, FPT Hong Kong Chief Executive Officer, FPT Corporation.

Since establishing a presence in Hong Kong in 2020, FPT has built a strong position as a trusted digital transformation partner to both local and international enterprises across industries, particularly insurance, banking, and financial services. Building on this momentum, FPT aims to triple its workforce by the end of 2026 and further strengthen its presence in Hong Kong and across the wider region.
