FPT Accelerates Automotive Growth with New Subsidiary in Poland and Acquisition of Nippon Seiki’s Polish Design and Development Unit
FPT acquired the Polish design and development unit of one of Japan’s leading automotive component manufacturers, Nippon Seiki, and established FPT Poland to strengthen its capabilities and presence across Europe.

The new company will initially focus on bringing FPT’s software development capabilities closer to European customers, as vehicles become increasingly software-defined. Its expertise will span embedded and head-up display software development and validation, supported by system engineering, architecture, testing, and quality assurance.
The acquisition of Nippon Seiki Europe’s Polish design and development unit by FPT Poland will ensure operational continuity while expanding engineering capacity and enabling FPT to respond more effectively to customer needs across Europe.
The collaboration will strengthen both companies’ ability to respond to the evolving automotive industry and capture new opportunities in software-defined vehicles. Beyond the business transfer, both sides also plan to deepen their partnership through new business models and joint initiatives.
“Automotive competitiveness is increasingly shaped by how effectively companies can industrialize software and AI across the vehicle lifecycle. Through the acquisition of an organization with more than two decades of experience, FPT will further strengthen our engineering capabilities, including embedded and automotive software development, while balancing consistent quality with development speed,” said Nguyen Duc Kinh, FPT Software Executive Vice President and FPT Automotive Chief Executive Officer, FPT Corporation. “Building on the ODC operational expertise cultivated through our collaboration with Nippon Seiki, FPT Poland will serve as a key European engineering and delivery base, strengthening our ability to support customers across the region while driving greater standardization in operations, quality, and delivery,” he added.
Entering Europe in 2008, FPT has become a trusted technology partner for more than 150 enterprises across the region. The European market has also emerged as a new growth driver for FPT’s global IT Services, with revenue growing 36.5% in the first seven months of 2026. With a global team of over 5,000 automotive engineers, the tech firm enables global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to accelerate the shift toward AI-Defined Mobility, combining two decades of automotive experience with extensive AI expertise to shorten development cycles, elevate in-vehicle intelligence, and unlock new mobility experiences.
