In an era where technological advancements are increasingly intertwined with climate action, social resilience, and workforce transformation, sustainability is not a standalone initiative, but a shared commitment embedded across how we operate, innovate, and engage with communities. In 2025, FPT’s commitment to sustainability took shape through concrete actions—from accelerating climate initiatives to strengthening communities and developing future-ready talent.

Environment Protection: Advancing Green Campuses and Climate Action

FPT has set a long-term target to achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040, enabling a greener future for Vietnam and the global community. This ambition is reflected in the development of its green campuses, built on energy-efficient and climate-responsive design principles.

F-Complex campus (Danang, Vietnam)

  • In Q1 2025, the F-Complex building in Danang completed the installation of a rooftop solar energy system with an annual capacity of 1,177,800 kWh. By transitioning to renewable energy sources and integrating energy-efficient systems in the offices, FPT aims to support Scope 2 emissions reduction while improving operational efficiency. Following this, the company plans to install another solar power system at its F-Town 3 building in Ho Chi Minh City.
  • In parallel, FPT University partnered with IQAir to deploy AirVisual air-quality monitoring stations across campuses in 4 cities. The initiative will provide real-time air-quality data to students and faculty, supporting environmental awareness and promoting healthier learning environments.

FPT’s environmental initiatives extended beyond infrastructure. With Green Transformation services, FPT supports organizations in integrating sustainability into their operations through the use of data-driven technologies and digital platforms.

UNICEF and FPT launched pilot project using VertZéro to conduct greenhouse gas inventory (GHG) and air quality monitoring at schools and healthcare facilities

A key enabler is VertZéro, FPT’s carbon accounting solution, which helps enterprises measure, automate, report, and decarbonize emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3. Through reducing carbon reporting time by 70% and cost by 60% compared with manual inventories, VertZéro enables more efficient and reliable emissions management. Its methodology has been certified by TÜV Rheinland (Germany) in compliance with international GHG accounting standards, reinforcing FPT’s credibility as a green transformation partner for organizations such as the United Nations and UNICEF.

FPT also translated its environmental commitments into tangible, community-based actions. In 2025, under the “Planting Trees Together”, FPT sponsored the planting of 3,500 trees across national parks and multiple nature reserves in Vietnam, supporting biodiversity protection and ecosystem restoration. In parallel, FPT partnered with World Vision to implement the “Green Stove – Healthy Living” initiative, delivering energy-efficient cooking solutions to 200 rural households. By replacing traditional firewood with cleaner, locally available biomass fuels, the project helps reduce indoor air pollution, improve health outcomes, and lower greenhouse gas emissions.

Community Development and Education Empowerment

FPT continued to support community development through practical initiatives that respond to urgent social needs and strengthen local resilience. These initiatives are underpinned by FPT’s participation in Pledge 1& Movement, with 2% of the corporation’s profit before tax dedicated to social, education, and community programs. By Q3 2025, FPT and its employees contributed a total of VND 58.7 billion to social responsibility programs nationwide, with 44% raised through employees’ voluntary donation of one day’s salary.

2025 marked the 15th edition of FPT’s annual Community Day on March 13, reinforcing a long-standing tradition of employee-led social contribution. The initiative featured activities supporting community well-being, including voluntary blood donation and post-flood recovery efforts.

FPT employees delivered essential supplies to schools in flood-affected regions

Beyond direct community engagement, FPT also leveraged its technological capabilities to support disaster preparedness and community safety. A free disaster-warning platform, developed by FPT engineers at the Quy Nhơn AI Research & Application Center, was built in response to severe flooding to support rescue and relief efforts. By integrating flood forecasting and inundation mapping, the platform helps emergency responders anticipate evolving conditions and strengthen rescue coordination during extreme weather events, contributing to more timely and effective community protection.

In parallel, FPT places education at the core of its social responsibility efforts, driven by the belief that education is a powerful catalyst for transforming children’s lives and expanding equal opportunities across regions. FPT People’s Fund for the Community, in partnership with the Hope Foundation, has implemented the "Light Up The School" series, aiming to enhance educational facilities for students in remote, underprivileged areas. Over the past eight years, the Hope Foundation has built and renovated nearly 600 school sites and 440 bridges in remote areas and disaster-affected communities, while also supporting schools with electronic libraries to expand access to knowledge and digital resources for both students and teachers.

FPT’s leaders, clients and partners visited Hope School

Building on these efforts, Hope School—an initiative driven by FPT’s leadership and the Hope Foundation to provide education and care for children who lost their family members due to the COVID-19 pandemic—inaugurated its new campus in 2025. Spanning 6,500 m², the campus offers integrated learning and accommodation facilities for 300 children from 29 provinces and cities across Vietnam.

FPT also contributes to strengthening Vietnam’s talent base as part of its long-term social responsibility. By providing high-quality education and extensive training across multiple learning pathways to more than 152,000 students, FPT helps develop a digitally capable, future-ready workforce with global competitiveness. In addition, the company implements the annual Nguyen Van Dao scholarship, which awarded VND 168.1 billion in scholarships to over 8,200 students nationwide in 2024.

Building a World-class and Joyful Workforce

Over 4,000 employees took part in FPT’s 37th anniversary sports festival

With strong emphasis on employee well-being, the company encourages active lifestyles through company-wide sports initiatives, including the Corporation’s 37th anniversary sports festival, global Happy Run races, and diversified sports tournaments. FPT also organizes seminars and programs that promote mental well-being, such as meditation, yoga, and pilates sessions, fostering balance and happiness in the workplace.

The people-centric approach is further reinforced through a culture of continuous learning and growth. FPT advances a skill-first people transformation at scale, supported by an AI-powered learning platform that enables personalized upskilling aligned to role-based and future-ready skills. Employees have access to more than 60,000 learning resources through global alliances with leading institutions and technology partners, including LinkedIn Learning, Harvard Business Impact, and Coursera. In 2025, these initiatives enabled more than five million learning hours and 300,000 learning enrollments, supporting lifelong learning across the organization.

In recognition of ongoing efforts in Environmental, Social, and Governance, FPT’s global subsidiaries achieved EcoVadis Silver rating in Japan, and Platinum ratings in France and Germany. These sustainability achievements are also complemented by workplace recognitions across multiple markets. FPT entities in Hong Kong, Thailand and Taiwan were certified as Great Place To Work®, a prestigious global recognition for outstanding work environments. Prior to this recognition, FPT received similar recognition in Germany and the Philippines in 2024, and Singapore in 2023.

FPT’s sustainability efforts in 2025 demonstrate how responsibility is translated into consistent action across the environment, communities, and the workplace. Through practical climate initiatives, community support, education investment, and people-centric development, FPT continues to create positive outcomes that extend beyond business operations. By harnessing technology and strengthening collaboration with employees, partners, and communities, FPT is committed to contributing to a greener environment, a more resilient society, and a future-ready workforce in Vietnam and across its global markets.
